Known for his work with Railroad Earth and From good homes his career is rooted in songwriting, improvisation, and collaboration, Sheaffer has a way of turning a performance into something living and unpredictable. Todd Sheaffer & Friends isn’t a fixed lineup—it’s a curated, all-star collective designed for the moment, with musicians joining in to create a set that won’t be repeated anywhere else.

yarn
Since forming in New York City nearly 20 years ago, Yarn has charted repeatedly on the Americana Music Association album and singles charts, climbed as high as number 4, and been featured heavily on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country, including their single Traveling Kind. Their 2024 release, Born Blessed, Grateful & Alive, also spent weeks on Americana and Alt.Country radio and appeared on the Grammy ballot for award consideration.
Singer and songwriter Blake Christiana leads the band with his guitar and vocals, embodying the music he writes: “The band has officially found something really special over the past couple of years. It feels like we are finally the live band and album-producing band we always set out to be, and the message we are aiming to deliver has also found its foothold.” Alongside Blake, Robert Bonhomme (drums), Rick Bugel (bass), and Andy Thomas (lead guitar) continue to hone Yarn’s live and studio sound, and the band is only getting stronger.
handpicked by joe cirotti
Born out of the Thursday night sessions at Pattenburg House, Handpicked is Joe Cirotti’s ongoing exploration of collaboration, taste, and musical instinct. Each week, Joe invites musicians he respects—players who inspire him, challenge him, and push the sound forward—creating nights that are never repeated and never predictable. For Soulstice, Handpicked expands into a two-part experience.
The first set features Joe alongside his flagship trio, featuring Pete Lister and Tim Coyne, grounding the performance in the rich, roots-driven sound he’s known for—tight, improvasional, and deeply musical. From there, the stage opens up. The second set becomes a live curation. Joe steps into the role of architect, bringing together a cast of musicians he’s personally selected—artists who move him creatively and elevate the moment. No fixed lineup. No script. Just a stage full of players listening, responding, and building something in real time.
